Provides a scholarship for an income-eligible person for post-secondary education.
Criteria:
- Must be a resident of Boone or Winnebago County with proof of valid Illinois photo ID;
- Must be an Illinois accredited school/college;
- Must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty level; and
-Must have a minimum of 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Upon review of the applications, prospective recipients will be contacted and interviewed.
Scholarship application open from March 3, 2025 - April 4, 2025.
The application will be available on the City of Rockford website.
